After last weeks bad weather we are set to try again this week with our “Wet and Messy” program.
The girls will need a towel and old clothes that you don’t mind getting fairly dirty. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us this week!
Gold Coast Region Awards Presentation
Sunday Nov 5th sees us join the rest of the Gold Coast Guiding community to celebrate the great achievements that have been completed in the last year. We have four Guides being presented with peak awards for their age groups, as well as a Ranger Guide who after a number of years of hard work will be presented with her Queens Guide. It would be wonderful to see a large group of girls there to help celebrate with these Guides and to encourage more girls to reach for these top badges.
The presentation will be held at the Upper Coomera Community Centre – 90 Reserve Road, Upper Coomera, commencing at 2pm.
Senior Brownie Skills Day
This term we are inviting the Brownies who are 8 years and older to come along to a Skills Day.
This will be held Saturday 18th November from 10am until 2:30pm.
Activities will include basic knotting, ceremonies, traditions, compass and mapping skills. Cost for the day will be $5 and lunch will be provided.
A similar day for the younger age group will be arranged for the start of next year
